ORIGINAL PRINT ART AND DEMOCRATIC SHARING IN ART

Beginning from pictures and drawings made thousands years ago can be accepted as first applications of art besides their functional aspects. while pictures and drawings which their changing of media and technique in time continues this functional feature, they have taken a different task in social life with their aesthetic aspect at the same time. continuously renewed art arena as in line with the development of science and technology, has continued its development with different technique and expression style until today. thus printing evaluated within plastic arts should be taken as an important production area with its different expression possibilities. while its place within general plastic arts printmaking as both technically and aesthetically examined, its reproduction feature enabling it to reach many people, reveals its different aspect. because of its availability for purchasing, granting and exchanging features of prints when compared with other art branches, this arena reveals an aspect of its allowance to democratic share of artistic works within public life. in this paper place and importance of printmaking art in social life with its specific features that appeals aesthetical feelings of human will be examined. it has been aimed that to discuss idea and methods in expanding quality and quantity of art in this field as a sharing object; and to implement by presenting prints to artist, collector, art gallery, associations of art production’s interest to provide sensitivity with projects.
