   Developing Coping Strategies with Bullying Scale: the Study of Reliability and Validity

چکیده    The purpose of this study is to done the reliability and validity study of the coping strategies with bullying scale developed to determine the strategies that the elementary school and high school students use in coping with bullying. the work group of the study consists of 1712 elementary and high school students, 905 boys and 807 girls, gettin educated in erzurum city center in 2013-2014 educational years and selected with appropriate sampling method. the factor structure of the scale was analyzed with exploratory factor analysis and a sixdimension structure explaining the 55,19 % of the total variance was obtained, and it was found out that the model fit of this structure is at good level ( x^2/sd=1.53, rmsea=.058, rmr=.044, srmr: .057, nfi=.91, nnfi= .92, cfi=.92, ifi=.92, rfi=.94, agfi=.90, gfi=.92). internal consistency, half-split and test-retest reliability analyses were done to determine the reliability of the scale, and enough scores were obtained to decide the reliability of the scale. in direction with the obtained results through the study, it can be said that coping strategies with bullying scale is a valid and reliable instrument to be used in determining the coping strategies of elementary and high school students
