   PEDAGOGICAL GENRE APPROACHES: A THEORETICAL STUDY

چکیده    The concept of genre, becoming more common and comprehensive, has been the raising issue in various platforms from workplace to media and to academia in terms of application and instructionin the last thirty years. such that, besides the abundance of the definitions proposed on genre, there have been also many different conventions presented on the content, structure, system, of and training on particular genre based on the cultures, contexts, and discourses in which it is used and produced. that is, genre has become a multidimensional and multifold pehomenon. concordantly, this study presents one of these aspects, “the genre notion in the written discourse”, by promoting a specific point of the content, which is “genre pedagogies” followed to teach genres. by this way, the study provides knowledge on the different pedagogical approaches to genre instruction proposed by important scholars in the field, and thus draws the theoretical framework of genre pedagogy, actually, through which it is believed that genre awareness will beentailed.
