THE ORGANIZATIONAL IMAGE AS A PREDICTOR OF ORGANIZATIONAL COMMITMENT IN THE SCHOOLS

The purpose of this study is to examine relationship between organizational commitment and organizational image that perceived by high school teachers. also ıt is examined relationship between demographic values and their perception of organizational commitment and organizational image. the study is quantitative research and descriptive survey model. the group of the study consist of 190 high school teachers who work in sivas in 2011-2012 academic year. data was collected by the scale of organizational commitment and the scale of organizational image. data analyzed by descriptive statistics, t test, anova and regression analysis. the results show that the level of perception of organizational commitment and image. there is a positive relationship between organizational commitment and organizational image. as well as, organizational image explain about 40% variance of organizational image.
