PERCEIVED BENEFITS OF RADIO FREQUENCY IDENTIFICATION TECHNOLOGY IN FIRMS: A HIERARCHICAL MULTIPLE REGRESSION ANALYSIS

Main goal of this research is to reveal perceived benefits of the rfid technology. literature review part of this work consists of rfid explanation, usage areas of this technology and model development. research application data gathered from the personnel employed at the firms operating in gebze district using survey method. research findings show that, perceived benefit is mostly affected by two variables. these variables are performance expectations and knowledge possession. it is found that other variables in the research model which are ubiquity, job relevance, cost savings and satisfaction have no effect on the perceived benefit.
