YALNIZLIK OLGUSU VE SANAL SOHBETİN YALNIZLIĞIN PAYLAŞIMINA ETKİSİ: ÜNİVERSİTE ÖĞRENCİLERİ ÜZERİNDE BİR ARAŞTIRMA

Subjects such as; spending too much time on the internet leads people into loneliness, it tears individuals from the social environments they belong to, it weakens their relationships with family and friends and that individuals behave much easier on virtual communication than they do in real life are being continually discussed by means of scientific research. relationship between loneliness and virtual communication was researched on a total of 717 associate, undergraduate and graduate students studying at universities in the provinces of erzurum, erzincan and ankara in order to contribute to these discussions. the results obtained were analysed and explained. in addition, participating in virtual environments, the factors which affect the use of virtual communication, the positive and negative effects of virtual environments and friendships established in this environment were also undertaken. results have been obtained supporting articles which state that the internet leads individuals into loneliness and steers those feeling desolate to the internet.
