   RELIABILITY AND VALIDITY OF ETHICAL LEADERSHIP SCALE: CASE OF ANTALYA

چکیده    Ethical leadership scale (els) is a scale formed on the basis of social learning theory that measures ethical leadership practices and aims at making a structural and empirical definition of ethical leadership phenomenon. to see the reliability and validity of the scale in turkish has been the primary objective of this study. 112 employees working in 5 star hotels have been included in this survey. 30 receptionists have been included to see test-retest reliability. beside test-retest method, exploratory factor analysis, internal consistency coefficients etc. have been used. in order to provide the clarity of the measuring instrument, a form in turkish has been reached with translationback translation method and incoherent parts have been converted into a common form with the ideas of experts in this field. the test-retest reliability coefficient is α = 0,985, and internal consistency reliability is α = 0,928 in the study. factor loadings have been found between 0,678 and 0,872 by explanatory factor analysis. in the end of the research, it has been found that the scale is suitable for using in turkish in accordance with the original single factoral form having high internal consistency and test-retest reliability scores.
