چکیده    The widespread of commercial web sites has increased the importance of searching and understanding the factors effecting consumers’ decision to shop online. although the consumers realized the benefits of online shopping, the personal characteristics of consumers had been found by many studies as a determinant to shop online. in this study, with the consideration of personal characteristics of consumers, the probability of consumers to shop online have been predicted by logistic regression and effectiveness of these factors had been tested. the effects of sex, age, education level, income level, internet access from home and attitude toward online shopping had been studied with logistic regression model. the results of the study show that with the inclusion of sex, age, education level, income level, and internet access from home and attitude toward online shopping in to the model, whether the consumers included in our sample shopped online or not had been predicted with %88.6 accuracy.
