   THE EFFECT OF DENTISTRY STUDENTS' STRESS LEVELS OF VIDEO TRANING IN ADDITION TO FIXED PROSTHODONTIC EDUCATION

چکیده    Aim: the purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of the amount of stress dentistry students felt in prosthodontic examinations during standard dental training with the theoretical and video training. material method: in the present study, fixed prosthesis was evaluated in 11 stages. 4th year dentistry students who had not previously tooth preparation experience on patients were included. five-point stress scala is applied to 82 students before prosthetic internship. this group of 36 people identified as randomly has been received pre-internship training videos, in addition to the 46 people did not receive any training. 5-point form was applied again after the internship. to evaluate datas, mann whitney u” test with using spss 17.0 was performed. results: there was a significant difference between stress levels in try-on cast (p<0,05). however, in comparison of stress level scores between before and after internship, there was significant difference in only impression stage (p<0,05). conclusion: according to the results of the present study, stress before prosthodontic internship can be reduced with video training in impression stage. besides, positive changes can be obtained with comprehensive video training together standart education.
