ESTHTETİC APPLICATIONS AT PERIORAL REGION THAT FULFILL INTRAORAL TREATMENTS

Patients’ esthetic expectations have increased with the improvements at dentistry field. dentists are responsible of microesthetics by the applications which are held intraorally. however, patients demand the facial applications which are called macroesthetics. for removing the wrinkles, dermal fillers have been developed as an alternative to the surgery methods. with the treatment of soft tissue augmentation dermal fillers can eradicate the wrinkles, thin lips, asymmetrical facial appearance and buccal depressions. the wrinkles are localized mostly at the 1/3 inferior facial region at face that cause most of the problems to the dentists. for the treatment of these problems, dentists should be educated andthey should do their duty. in this article, the esthtetic applications at perioral region that fulfill intraoral treatments alternatively are reviewed and discussed the mission and responsibility of dentists.
