MULTIPLE-SESSION ENDODONTIC TREATMENT OF MAXILLARY CENTRAL INCISOR WITH TOTAL CROWN LOSS AND WIDE PERIAPICAL LESION AND ITS RESTORATION WITH FIBER-POST SUPPORTED COMPOSITE RESIN: 5-YEAR FOLLOW-UP

In the teeth which are subject to severe crown damage that have lesion in periapical zone, treatment consists of multiple sessions and patients feel uncomfortable with their appearance due to missing teeth form the front group during their treatment process. in this paper healing with endodontic treatment, without surgical treatment, of the left maxillary central tooth with wide lesion in periapical zone due to excessive crown loss and longterm negligence in terms of treatment, as well as permanent restoration of the tooth with polyethylene fibre post using temporary composite tooth in order to prevent loss-of-tooth appearance has been managed. the 5-year follow-up examinations showed that the restorations were still in place and successful, the periradicular lesion showed satisfactory healing radiographically
