COMPARING OF GLASS CERAMIC RESTORATIONS AND ZIRCONIA BASED CERAMIC RESTORATIONS

With strengthening of ceramic materials and producing of new ceramic materials, full ceramic systems routinely used at crown and bridge restorations. glass ceramics and zirconia based ceramics are mostly used full ceramic systems. glass ceramics and zirconia based ceramics showing differences at multiple aspects such as physical and esthetic properties from each other. clinical parameters is very important when deciding restorations of full ceramic materials. clinical performance of full ceramic materials might show variability according to using material, fabrication tecnique, clinical application and failure reason. the aim of this review was to evaluate structural characteristics and clinical datas of different full ceramic systems in light of the studies related to these topics.
