REHABILITATION OF NON-SYNDROMIC OLIGODONTIA WITH INTERDISCIPLINARY APPROACH: CASE REPORT

Oligodontia, commonly describe as a condition involving absence of six or more teeth excluding the third molar, is a rare anomaly affecting very small amount of the population. the patients seek care because of an unaesthetic and socially unacceptable malocclusion when teeth are missing. the absence of teeth can affect social relations and masticatory function. comprehensive rehabilitation of oligodontia is best undertaken in multidisciplinary clinics. generally a team composed of an oral surgeon, an orthodontist and a prosthodontist can handle the responsibility of the treatment. in this case report rehabilitation of a 17 years old female suffered from a non-syndromic oligodontia was presented
