   THE INVESTIGATION OF THE EFFECTS ON STRESS DISTRIBUTIONS OF LUTING CEMENTS HAVING DIFFERENT PROPERTIES USED IN A HUMAN TOOTH CROWN BY FINITE ELEMENT METHOD

چکیده    Aim: tooth crown has great importance in the point of view of without loosing the tooth reestablishing the function of teeth in which cavities have been formed due to several reasons and having high material lost. in the studies of tooth crown, experimental and theorical methods have been used.besides, recently in parallel with previous studies, numerical studies namely computer aided studies have commenced to be executed in this domain. the aim of this study is to evaluate stress distribution using finite element method in the crown-cement-tooth (dentine) model in which cements having different properties are utilized. materials and methods: in the computations without changing the properties of tooth and crown two different types of luting cements have been employed. using ansys packet program, numerical analysis were carried out. the analyses are executed in elastic zone. results: according to result of numerical analysis, the condition with the cement having them minimum elastic modüle (2. test) shows the critical stress case. conclusion: the model with the cement (1. test) having characteristic close to dentine reveals the most reliable case in the point of von mises stress.
