تاثیر تمرینات اسپارک بر عملکرد حافظه کاری دیداری -فضایی کودکان مبتلا به ‌کم‌ توانی ذهنی

مقدمه: کودکان مبتلا به کم توانی ذهنی که گروه گسترده ای از دریافت کنندگان خدمات بهداشتی هستند، بیش از دو درصد از جمعیت را تشکیل می دهند. کم توانی ذهنی با محدودیت های معنی داری در عملکرد ذهنی و رفتار سازشی و همچنین در مهارت های ادراکی و عملی همراه است. بر اساس مطالعات یکی از ابزارهای مهمی که می تواند بر توانایی های شناختی مانند حافظه تاثیرگذار باشد فعالیت بدنی می باشد. با توجه به مشکلات حافظه در کودکان مبتلا به کم توانی ذهنی، پژوهش حاضر با هدف بررسی تاثیر تمرینات اسپارک بر عملکرد حافظه کاری دیداری فضایی در کودکانی که از کم توانی ذهنی رنج می برند، انجام شد. مواد و رو ش ها: جامعه آماری پژوهش حاضر شامل دانش آموزان کم توان ذهنی آموزش پذیر در ارومیه بودند. 20 پسر کم توان ذهنی با میانگین سنی 9 تا 12 سال انتخاب و به دو گروه آزمایش و کنترل تقسیم شدند. برنامه اسپارک که شامل فعالیت های تقویتی و همچنین بازی و ورزش برای کودکان است، به مدت 18 جلسه در گروه آزمایش اجرا شد. برای جمع آوری داده های حافظه دیداری فضایی آزمون کرسی بلاک مورد استفاده قرار گرفت. یافته ها: نتایج نشان داد تفاوت معنی داری در نمره حافظه کاری دیداری فضایی بین گروه آزمایش و کنترل وجود دارد. نتیجه گیری: تمرینات اسپارک می تواند موجب بهبود عملکرد حافظه کاری دیداری فضایی کودکان کم توان ذهنی آموزش پذیر گردد.

The Effects of Spark Training on Visual-Spatial Working Memory Operation in Children with Mental Retardation

Introduction: Mental retarded children who receive a wide range of health services, representing more than two percent of the population. Mental retardation is associated with significant constraints on mental performance and adaptive behavior as well as perceptual and practical skills. According to the studies, one of the important tools that can affect cognitive abilities, such as memory, is physical activity. Due to the memory problems in children with mental retardation, this study aimed to investigate the effects of spark training on visualspatial working memory operation in children suffering from mental retardation. Materials and Methods: The Study population included educable mentally retarded students in Urmia. 20 mentally retarded boys of age 9 to 12 years were selected and divided into two groups; experimental and control. Spark programs that includes strengthening activities as well as games and sports for children were performed for 18 sessions on the experimental group. Corsi Blocks test was used to collect the visualspatial memory data. Results: The results showed a significant difference in the visualspatial work memory score between the experimental and control groups. Conclusion: Spark exercises can improve the performance of the visualspatial work memory of trained mentally retarded children.
