The opinions of administrators in provincial directorates of education on changes in Turkish education system

This study aims to investigate how administrators in provincial directores of education perceive the recent changes in turkish education system. the participants of the study consist of 5 administrators that work in the provincial directorates of education in two provinces in central anatolia within the 2012-2013 academic year. descriptive analysis is conducted to analyze the data. seven conceptual categories have been created using the responses of the participants. the study results show that participants have a positive approach towards change. results also show that participants consider that changes lack planning. participants also indicate that the recent changes in education system brought about different problematic issues.
