Totally extruded talus

Total talar dislocation is a rare injury, and its management is controversial. reimplantation of talus and primary tibiocalcaneal arthrodesis are suggested treatment options. we diagnosed total talar dislocation in a fourty one years old woman who was evaluated after car accident. we treated the patient with reimplantation of talus. ten months after the surgery, we did not encounter any complication such as infection or avasculer necrosis. we recommend the reimplantation for total dislocation of the talus as a primary treatment option.
