GO-kart injuries in plastic surgey

Go-kart is a track race that is realized by using small, rear engined and four-wheel vehicles. the popularity of this sport is increasing more and has become an entertainment game preferred especially by young people. go-kart racing track has served for a few years in samsun. four patients injured during racing on that track and emergency service have been included into this study. patients have been evaluated in terms of age, sex, injured area, mechanism of injury and additional trauma. in this study, we tried to attract attention to go-kart injuries and display paterns of injuries that may occur, by considering earlier studies with large series in europe and far east.
