Cationic detergents of germicidal agents

Cationic detergens which are effective antiseptic and disinfectant are germicidal gents. these compounds especially are used as disinfectant for cleaning instruments and floors in hospital and also are used in skin, mucosal membranes and body cavitises as antiseptic. the toxic effects, antimicrobial activity, properties and where they are used of antiseptics and disinfectants must be known. this information is basic requisite for proper application of antiseptics and disinfectants. this paper, aims to give information about the toxic effects, effective mechanisms, characteristics of cationic detergens and where they are used under the light of recent information.
