|
Corporate culture is a corporate tool that forms the behaviour of the employees and integrates them into a common culture. it provides harmony among the employees and the managers by gathering them around the same norms and values. corporate culture also plays an integrative and holistic role by increasing the solidarity. values are the answer of the question “how” in the corporate range of idea. values like “principle integrity”, “honesty”, “explicitness”, “equal opportunity”, “progress” perform a duty of compass for the corporation to find the way while it carry on the activity. as a managing tool, the potential of the values are not only depending on the acceptance of the corporate values but also needs to be interiorized by the employees to be effective. in this context, a study was conducted in a private school in eskişehir between 31 march – 4 april 2014 that aimed to reveal the attitudes towards the corporate values, the effectiveness of corporate communication tools that are used to transfer these values and the attitudes towards the contribution of corporate values to this private school. in this study, a questionnaire and a deep interview was implemented to 37 employees of the private school and the results analyzed by frequency analysis.
