   CORPORATE GOVERNANCE AND PUBLIC RELATIONS: A QUALITATIVE RESEARCH WITH PUBLIC RELATIONS EXPERTS

چکیده    Governance, represents the creation of a transparent, accountable, responsible and fair environment with all stakeholders especially in managing and conducting operations in joint stock companies. the main purpose of this environment is the protection of shareholder rights, meet their demands and expectations to ensure sustainability. this study aims to reveal the opinion and practices of public relations practitioners related to governance cases. for this, interviews have been made with public relations practitioners from corporations located in the fortune 500 companies ranking list. according to the findings public relations practitioners view governance as an important function of public relations and emphasize that governance form the basis of corporate communications.
