MEDIA'S CRITICAL AND CONTINUOUS TURNING: THE RELIABILITY OF MEDIA NEWS THROUGH THE EYES OF UNIVERSITY STUDENTS

Reliability studies are the one of the main research topic of communication studies for many years. formerly, reliability studies concentrate on the dimensions of reliability of source in the process of persuasive communication, more current literature spotlight on the changes of perception of reliability attributed to different media channels. in other words, the issue of reliability of media and news drew the attention of science people in the chronic form and this mentality has led the investigation of the different dimensions of reliability. here, in the carried out study sourced by such ideas, the ideas of university students about the reliability of media news are questioned by the field research. the data of the research subject collected by the questionnaire based on face to face interviews from 666 students. as a result of this study it was found that, participants felt always the need of having about news and information. in order to fill the need of information demand, college students' most used mediaweekly, are internet, social media and television as taking the first three lines up. the respondents of survey believe in newspapers', televisions' and radios' news more than other news of media.
