THE EXAMINATION OF PRIMARY SCHOOL STUDENTS’ OPINIONS RELATED TO MASS MEDIA IN THE TERMS OF TRAFFIC SECURITY (SAMPLE: ÇANAKKALE PROVINCE)

As known that basic knowledge and skills gained and reinforced period, primary school age is important in the term of traffic education. this paper aims to examine primary school students’ opinions related to traffic security that presented in mass media. this descriptive study has designed survey model. in analyzing obtained data has been used spss 15.0, the level of significance is 0.05 in assessment. data has analyzed by using percentage, frequency, t-test and variance and has interpreted by making table. it has been seen that students think “çiçek taksi” and “akasya durağı” television series contribute to their traffic education. in the result of study it has been seen that there is no meaningful difference between students’ opinions related to media organs and gender. also, there is no meaningful difference between student opinions about traffic security and students’ parent car number.
