چکیده
|
New media tools and the possibilities that are created by the context, helped capital activities overcome the limits regarding the time and space and gave way to the proliferation of flexible accumulation practices. in this context, rather than mass production/mass consumption processes, flexible production/flexible consumption processes and as well as national, regional and global activity scales comes into prominence. this transformation is held in terms of the different accumulation regimes observed through the history of capitalism and the transformation of organising institutions is regarded too. traditional media institutions have enlarged their activity realms due to the abovementioned transformation with increasing condensation practises and they have become the major actor in the new media sector. in this study, the role of hurriyet newspaper, which started to publish as a family company, and then with all those transformations, began to enhance multinationalization practises in new media sector is analysed.
