ANALYSIS FOR THE PROVISONS ABOUT THE RENTAL AGREEMENT OF THE CODE OF OBLIGATIONS

Significant amendments occur in turkish law relating to the basic codes latterly. in this context, the former code of obligations no 818 and the code relating to renting immovable no 6570 are abolished in 1 july, 2011. and the code of obligation no 6098 came into force alternatively. thus, rental agreement is put in order in the code of obligation in three divisions as “general provisions”, “rent of the domiciles and the roofed business premises” and “rent of product”. thanks to this, the provisions of the abrogated code no 6570 are added to the code of obligation with some amendments. the newness and the amendments related to the general provisions of rental agreement in the code of obligation no 6098 are analyzed in the scope of the study.
