چکیده    The state is not static; it is a changeable entity that adapts according to different historical conditions and ideological m ovements. the welfare state was adopted by a number of nations during the 20th century, especially when the effects of the industrial revolution began to be clear. when ii. world war afterwards welfare state was widening “golden age” of existence. after that 1970‟s years economic crises together the welfare state stopped its growing path, and began to be regressed. globalization deal with that is the cause of the chronic crisis of the welfare state. globalization is the process of international change that is characterized by a growing interconnectedness between political, social, cultural and economic systems beyond national borders. welfare state expose to crises process that is especially the case with respect to economic globalization. economic globalization refers to related processes: the integration of world financial markets. as national economies open to the international market, governments are forced to adapt to the imperatives of global competition, and this means cutting cost-intensive welfare programmes. these processes increased income inequality, and put pressures on welfare states to transform worker protection and benefits in the states. the new-politics aims welfare state retrenchment. neoliberalism was a key factor in the development of globalization that it economic policy involved an attack on the welfare state. this article attempts to explain changes and decline of welfare state in globalization process.
