چکیده
|
The simple fact that female labor per capita is more costly than male labor makes it difficult for women to find employment. the provisions that are put into effect to protect women, e.g. maternity leave and breastfeeding breaks, are not welcomed much by employers and ultimately negatively affect the rate at which females are employed. keeping in mind the fact that female workers are a vulnerable group within the society, it is a necessity and priority to provide legal protection for them. undoubtedly, the legal arrangements for women provide important rights for women workers in working life and provide protection against the unjust treatments of the labor market. ensuring a change in the low percentage of women employment has become a major precedent in labor policies. in accordance to changes in labor demand, various policies have been put into play to increase both the employability of women and their desire to work. with this respect, protecting women more in the work life may ensure an increase in their place within the labor force.in this study, regulations regarding the protection of women workers in azerbaijani labor law were examined and current regulations were also handled comparatively with turkish labor law.
