بررسی فعالیت و تاثیر شرکت‌های انگلیسی و روسی در ایالت فارس در دوره قاجار

تحولات سده‌های هیجدهم و نوزدهم میلادی اروپا، موجب توسعه تجارت جهانی شد و رقابت کشورهای قدرتمند برای به دست آوردن بازارهای جدید و تهیۀ مواد اولیه، گسترش پیدا کرد؛ در این شرایط، ایران به لحاظ موقعیت جغرافیایی و سیاسی مورد توجه بریتانیا و روسیه قرار گرفت و روابط ایران با آن دو کشور افزایش یافت. به علت موقعیت خاص ایالت فارس که بخش عمده ای از سواحل خلیج فارس را شامل می‌شد و راههای تجاری پس کرانه‌ای را در اختیار داشت، نمایندگی شرکت‌های خارجی و نیز کنسولگری دولت‌هایی از جمله بریتانیا و روسیه در این ایالت حضور پیدا کردند. در این مقاله به فعالیت‎ شرکت‌های تجاری انگلیس و روس و تاثیر این این شرکت ها در ایالت فارس پرداخته می‌شود. شرکت هایی چون زیگلر، گری پال، دیوید ساسون، شرکت کشتیرانی تجار و تجاری روسی، مجتمع بازرگانی ایران و روسیه و تجارتخانۀ نیکلا آواغینیانس در حوزه این بررسی قرار می‌گیرند.یافته‌های پژوهش نشان می‌دهد، تنوع فعالیتِ تجاری شرکت‌های خارجی در خدمت تامین نیازهای دو قدرت بریتانیا و روسیه در عرصه بازارهای جدید و تهیه مواد اولیه بود، همچنین صادرات اقلام مهم از جمله گوسفند، روغن حیوانی، پوست گوسفند و بره آثار منفی در جامعه به همراه داشت که از آثار آن گرانی گوشت و اعتراض مردمی نسبت به آن است. تجار ایرانی به منظور مقابله با شرکت های خارجی به تاسیس کمپانی و شرکت های داخلی روی آوردند ولی در نهایت کارشکنی بانک شاهنشاهی و مداخلات بیگانگان، امکان ورود ایران به بازارهای خارجی و توسعه شرکت‌های تجاری داخلی را مهیا نکرد.

Investigating the activity and influence of British and Russian companies in Fars province during the Qajar period

Developments in Europe in the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries led to the development of world trade and the competition of powerful countries for new markets and an increased supply of raw materials; Under these conditions, Iran was assessed by Britain and Russia in terms of its geographical and political position, and Iran’s relations with these two countries increased. due to the special location of the province of Fars, which covers most of the coast of the Persian Gulf and has back trade routes, representatives of foreign companies and government consulates, including Britain and Russia, were present in this province. this article discusses the activities of British and Russian trading companies and their influence in the Persian province. Companies such as Ziegler, Gary Paul, David Sassoon, the Russian Merchant Shipping Company, the IranRussia Commercial Complex and the Nikola Avaginians Trading House are included in this reseach study.The findings show that, the variety of business activities of foreign companies serves the export of products such as sheep, animal oil, sheepskin and lamb, in addition to the needs of the two powers in new markets and raw materials in the England and Russia. negative effects on society, among which are the high price of meat and popular protests against it. Iranian merchants set up local companies and firms to deal with foreign companies. however, in the end, the provocations of the Imperial Bank and foreign interference did not allow Iran to enter foreign markets and develop local trading companies.
