بررسی تطبیقی علل پیشرفت فناوری در تمدن اسلام وغرب

مقاله حاضر باتمایز میان علم و فناوری و تعریف جداگانه هر کدام و بررسی رابطه رشد علم با فناوری باهدف پاسخ به این مساله به رشته تحریردرامده که چرا پیشرفت علمی مسلمین در قرون پنجم تا هفتم هجری قمری منجر به پیشرفت آنها در فناوری نشد ولی برعکس، غربیان که در قرن های بعداز رنسانس پیشرفت علمی قابل ملاحظه ای داشتند توانستند به پیشرفت در فناوری هم دست یایند وبا این فرضیه دلایل پیشرفت علمی مسلمین وعدم پیشرفت انها درفناوری برخلاف جهان غرب رابررسی می کند.روش: تبیینی و تحلیلی و روش گردآوری اطلاعات نیز کتابخانه ای می باشد و شیوه تجزیه و تحلیل اطلاعات آن هم با روش تحلیل اسنادی است. نتیجه گیری: لااقل به چند دلیل چنین تفاوتی حاصل شددلایلی مثل روحیه اومانیستی درغرب وتفاوت انتظار از علم ،استقلال مالی فناوری درغرب،بهره گیری از زبان ریاضی،ضعف نظام تعلیم وتربیت،رواج تفکر قشری گری وصوفی گری وبالاخره حمله مغولان . در پایان دو پیشنهاد برای ادامه این کار علمی مقایسه ای ارائه شده است.

A Comparative Study of the Causes of Technological Advancement in Islamic and Western Civilizations

The present article examines the relationship between the growth of science and technology by distinguishing between science and technology and defining each one separately. The main question of this article is why the scientific progress of Muslims in the fifth to seventh centuries AH did not lead to their advancement in technology. Conversely, Westerners, who had made significant scientific advances in the postRenaissance centuries, could make advances in technology. With this hypothesis, this article examines the reasons for the scientific progress of Muslims and their lack of progress in technology, unlike the Western world. The method of the article is explanatory and analytical and the method of data collection is library. Such things as the humanist spirit in the West and the difference between expectation from science, financial independence of technology in the West, the use of mathematical language, the weakness of the Islamic education system, the prevalence of corticalism and Sufism in Islam and finally the Mongol invasion are the reasons for this fact. Finally, two suggestions for the continuation of this scientificcomparative work are presented.
