کارکرد فرهنگی دریانوردی مسلمانان در نشر اسلام در هند با تکیه بر کتاب عجایب‌الهند (قرن چهارم هجری)

یکی از راه‌های نشر اسلام در هند فضای اعتقادی و دینی دریانوردی مسلمانان بوده است. کشتی‌های مسلمانان دارای مسافران و سرنشینان نسبتاً زیاد از اقوام، ملیت‌ها و اقشار مختلف بودند. سفرهای دریایی غالباً طولانی بود و در وضعیت بحرانی ماه‌ها طول می‌کشید. دریانوردان با طوفان‌ها و موانع و مشکلاتی مواجه بودند. مسئله این است که وضعیت فرهنگی و دینی در کشتی‌های مسلمانان چگونه بود ودریانوردی چه تاثیری بر نشر اسلام در هند داشت؟ این تحقیق که به شیوه توصیفی تحلیلی و بر اساس منابع کتابخانه‌ای به‌خصوص تکیه بر کتاب عجایب الهند انجام گرفته، بیانگر آن است که کشتی‌های مسلمانان هم در وضعیت عادی و هم در وضعیت بحرانی و خطر، پر از مظاهر فرهنگ، اعتقادات و اعمال عبادی در شبانه‌روز بود. در مواقع خطر دل انسان‌ها بیشتر متوجه خالق هستی می‌شود. مسلمانان در چنین وضعیتی به آداب خاصی مانند قرائت قرآن و دعا روی می‌آوردند. مجموعه این رفتارها و سایر ویژگی‌های اخلاقی و شخصیتی سرنشینان مسلمان کشتی‌ها و ناخدایان مسلمان و فعالیت های بعد از بیرون رفتن از کشتی در بنادر و مناطق مختلف هند موجب انتقال پیام اسلام و نشر آن در سراسر سرزمین هند می‌شد.

The cultural role of Muslim seafaring in the expansion of Islam in India based on the Ajaeb Al-Hind (4th century AH)

One of the ways of spreading Islam in India has been the religious atmosphere of Muslim seafaring. Muslim ships had a large number of passengers and crew of different ethnicities, nationalities and strata. Sea voyages have often been long, and in a critical situation, it has taken for months. The sailors faced storms, hindrances and problems. The question is what was the cultural and religious situation on Muslim ships and what effect did this have on the spread of Islam in India? This research has been done in a descriptiveanalytical manner and based on library sources, especially relying on the Ajayeb AlHind book Indicates that Muslim ships, both in normal and critical situations, were full of manifestations of culture, beliefs and prayer around the clock. In dangerous situations, the human heart becomes more aware of the Creator of the universe. In such a situation, Muslims resorted to certain rituals such as reciting the Qur’an and praying. The combination of these behaviors and other moral and personality traits of the Muslim passengers of the ships and the Muslim captains and the activities after leaving the ship in different ports and regions of India conveyed the message of Islam and spread it throughout India.
