بررسی و تحلیل جایگاه و اهمیت اقتصادی سمرقند در عصر سامانی

شهر سمرقند طی سده های متمادی یکی از مهمترین و مترقی ترین شهرهای ایرانی اسلامی در سراسر سرزمین های شرق خلافت اسلامی بود. این شهر بویژه در دوره سامانی به اوج ترقی و شکوفایی خود رسید. اما سمرقند همانند خودِ دوره سامانی عمدتاً از جهت اهمیت سیاسی و فرهنگی مورد تحقیق و پژوهش قرار گرفته است. از این رو به رغم اهمیت اقتصادی که سمرقند و دوره سامانی در تاریخ ایران اسلامی داشته، به نسبت اهمیت سیاسی و فرهنگی کمتر مورد توجه قرار گرفته است. بنابراین در پژوهش پیش رو تلاش بر آن است که بر مبنای روش توصیفی تحلیلی جایگاه و اهمیت اقتصادی این شهر در دوره سامانی مورد تحلیل و بررسی قرار گیرد. بر این مبنا، پرسش اصلی مقاله آن است که اساساً چه زمینه ها و عواملی سبب رونق اقتصادی سمرقند در دوره سامانی گردید؟ و این رونق چه عرصه هایی را در بر می گرفت؟ بنابر یافته های پژوهش مجموعه عوامل طبیعی، جغرافیایی و سیاسی اجتماعی، زمینه های لازم برای رونق اقتصادی در سمرقند دوره سامانی را فراهم نمود. این رونق نیز عمدتاً عرصه هایی نظیر اقتصاد کشاروزی، تجارت و بازرگانی، تجارت برده و صنعت کاغذسازی را در برمی گرفت.

Investigation and analysis of the economic importance of Samarkand in the Samanid era

For centuries, the city of Samarkand was one of the most important and progressive IranianIslamic cities throughout the eastern lands of the Islamic Caliphate. This city reached its peak of prosperity, especially in the Samanid period. But Samarkand, like the Samanid period, has been researched mainly for its political and cultural importance. Therefore, despite the economic importance of Samarkand and the Samani period in the history of Islamic Iran, they had more importance in political and cultural fields. Therefore, in this research, it has been tried to analyze the economic importance of this city in the Samanid period based on a descriptiveanalytical method. Based on this, the main question of the article is what are the main factors that led to the economic prosperity of Samarkand in the Samanid period? And what fields did this boom have? According to the research findings, a combination of natural, geographical and sociopolitical factors provided the necessary grounds for economic prosperity in Samarkand during the Samanid period. This prosperity also mainly covered fields such as the agricultural economy, trade and commerce, the slave trade, and the paper industry.
