   Thermal Stresses in Thermoplastic Matrix Composite Disc Under Rotation and Temperature

چکیده    In this work a thermoplastic disc model was created. the composite material was thermoplastic matrix and it was reinforced using steel fibers. the solution of composite disc problem was done via finite element method (fem). therefore, ansys program was utilized for both modeling and analyses. as an innovation, the composite disc was created as three dimensional as a dissimilarity from earlier studies. the structural boundary conditions, uniform temperatures as 45, 55, 65, 75, 85, 95, 105 and 115 °c and angular velocities as 10, 20 and 30 were performed on three dimensional model. the values of thermal stresses and elastic thermal strains were computed and its distributions were determined on the disc. computed results and obtained distributions related to apply various uniform temperatures and angular velocities were compared with each other. according to these results, magnitudes and distributions of thermal stresses were strictly associated changing of uniform temperatures and angular velocities.
