فی الطبیعه‌ عجایب؛ دست‌خطی نویافته از شمس‌الدین محمد کیشی بر حاشیه القانون فی الطب

شمس‌الدین محمّد کیشی از دانشمندان نامدار سدهٔ هفتم هجری است که هم در علوم فلسفی و عرفانی دست داشته و هم به فقه و تفسیر و حدیث نگاهی داشته و هم در دانش پزشکی چهره‌ای شناخته شده به شمار می‌رفته است. در این نگاشته، دو یادداشتِ نویافته کوتاه به دست‌خط او، در حاشیه کتاب پنجم القانون فی الطب ابن‌سینا معرفی می‌گردد. این یادداشت‌ها اموری را فرا می‌نماید که می‌تواند شایان توجه باشد. از جمله اینکه در یادکرد لقب و نام پدرِ شمس‌الدین، اختلافی در میان منابع کهن وجود دارد. در یکی از این دست‌نوشت‌ها، نویسنده نام خود را به‌صراحت «محمّد بن محمّد الکیشی» می‌خواند. از سوی دیگر ذکر یک واقعه خلاف‌آمدِ عادت در بارهٔ نکته‌ای پزشکی که در حضور حاکم نامدارِ اصفهان، بهاءالدین محمّد اتفاق افتاده و برداشتی که کیشی از آن دارد، می‌تواند پرتوی بر اندیشه‌های علمی کیشی بیندازد. همچنین در این مقاله کوشش شده است دست‌نوشته‌های یادشده به‌تقریب تاریخ‌گذاری شوند و برخی دریافت‌های تاریخی و علمی نیز از این دست‌نوشته‌ها برداشت شود.

wonders in the natures, wonders in the margins: newly discovered annotations by shams al-dīn al-kīshī in avicenna’s canon of medicine

shams al-dīn al-kīshī was a prominent seventh-century ah scholar renowned for his contributions to philosophy, sufism, jurisprudence, qur’anic exegesis (tafsīr), and ḥadīth studies, as well as his distinguished work in medicine. this article examines two newly discovered marginal notes in al-kīshī’s handwriting, found in book 5 of avicenna’s canon of medicine. these notes yield significant insights: first, they resolve discrepancies in the historical record concerning the name and title of al-kīshī’s father, explicitly identifying him as “muḥammad ibn muḥammad al-kīshī.” second, they document an unusual medical incident witnessed by the renowned ruler of isfahan, bahāʼ al-dīn muḥammad, offering a window into al-kīshī’s scientific methodology and thought. additionally, this study provides a tentative dating of the manuscripts and extracts further historical and scientific implications from these marginalia, contributing to our understanding of al-kīshī’s intellectual milieu
