تبیین انتظارات و دیدگاه های اعضاء هیات علمی در ارتباط با مراکز مطالعات و توسعه آموزش علوم پزشکی

مقدمه: اهمیت درک و شناخت فعالیت‌های مرکز توسعه آموزش پزشکی و توافق نظر نسبت به حوزه عملیاتی این مرکز به منظور دستیابی به اهداف و اجرای سیاست ارتقای کیفیت آموزش در دانشگاه ها امری اجتناب ناپذیر است. از آنجایی که اعضای هیات علمی به عنوان مشتریان مراکز مطالعات و دریافت‌کنندگان اصلی خدمات آنان هستند لذا این مطالعه با هدف تبیین انتظارات اعضای هیات علمی از ارائه خدمات مراکز مطالعات و توسعه آموزش دانشگاه ها صورت پذیرفته است.روش ها: پژوهش حاضر یک مطالعه کیفی در سال 1395 در سطح مراکز مطالعات و توسعه آموزش پزشکی کشور انجام شد. ابزار گردآوری داده‌ها، مصاحبه نیمه ساختار یافته با اعضای هیات علمی به روش نمونه‌گیری هدفمند بود و جمع آوری اطلاعات تا اشباع داده‌ها به تعداد 16 نفر صورت پذیرفت. روایی و پایایی مطالعه از طریق بررسی ریشه در چهار محور مقبولیت، انتقال پذیری و تناسب، همسانی و تغییرپذیری تایید شد. برای تجزیه و تحلیل محتوا از شیوه تجزیه و تحلیل محتوای تماتیک انجام شد.یافته‌ها: نتایج تحلیل محتوای داده‌ها در شش تم اصلی (13 طبقه یا تم فرعی و 11 زیر طبقه) شامل ایفای نقش های آموزشی، ارزشیابی، ارتباط با هیات علمی، تولید علم و حمایت از اعتلای دفاتر توسعه و بازگشت به فلسفه وجودی مراکز طبقه‌بندی شد.نتیجه‌گیری: یافته‌های پژوهش بیانگر اهمیت جایگاه مراکز مطالعات و توسعه آموزش پزشکی از دیدگاه اعضای هیات علمی و انتظارات آن ها از کارکرد این مراکز بود. لذا توصیه می گردد مراکز مطالعات و توسعه آموزش پزشکی از یافته های این پژوهش در بازبینی کارکرد خود استفاده نمایند.

Explaining the Expectations and Views of the Faculty Members in Relation to the Educationa Development Centers

Introduction:The importance of understanding and recognition of Medical Education Development Center rsquo;s activities and agreement on its acute; domain of operation in order to achieving the objectives and policy implementation of improving quality of education in universities is inevitable. Since Facultymembers are clients of EDC and the main recipients of their services, this study aimed to explain the faculties acute; expectations of providing services by medical education development centers in universities.Methods: This is a qualitative study carried out at the Medical Education Development and Study Centers of Iran in 2016. Data were collected by semistructured interviews with faculty members through purposeful sampling and data gathering was done until data saturation of 16 individuals. The validity and reliability of the study were confirmed by examining the roots in the four axes of acceptability, transferability, suitability, consistency and variability. Content analysis has been done by thematic analysis.Results: The results of content analysis in six main themes (13 floors or sub themes and 11 subcategories) including: the role playing in Education, evaluation process, relationship with faculty, production of science, support for promotion of development offices and return to existential philosophy of centers was categorized.Conclusion: The findings of this study indicate the importance of medical education research and development centers from the viewpoints of faculty members and their expectations of their functioning, therefore it is recommended to use findings of this study to review their performance by education development centers.
