بررسی رابطه تفکر انتقادی و فرهنگ ایمنی بیمار در پرستاران

مقدمه: ایمنی بیمار به عنوان یکی از مولفه‌های اصلی کیفیت خدمات سلامت بوده و یکی از عوامل لازم برای ارتقای ایمنی بیمار، وجود فرهنگ ایمنی بیمار است. از طرفی بکار گیری مهارت های تفکر انتقادی، با توسعه عملکردهای مبتنی بر شواهد، منجر به ایجاد پیامدهای مثبت در بیماران می‌گردد. این مطالعه با هدف تعیین رابطه تفکر انتقادی و فرهنگ ایمنی بیمار در پرستاران انجام گردید.روش کار: این مطالعه همبستگی بر روی 196 پرستار شاغل در بیمارستان شریعتی شهر اصفهان که با روش نمونه گیری در دسترس انتخاب شدند؛ انجام گردید. داده ها با استفاده از پرسشنامه پیمایش بیمارستانی فرهنگ ایمنی بیمار و آزمون مهارت‌‌های تفکرانتقادی کالیفرنیا فرم ب جمع آوری شد. داده‌‌ها به وسیله نرم افزار spss، نسخه 22 و با استفاده از آمار توصیفی و آزمون همبستگی پیرسون تجزیه و تحلیل گردید.یافته ها: بیشتر مشارکت کنندگان (52.6 درصد، 103 نفر) زن بوده و در رده سنی 40-31 سال، (35.2 درصد، 69 نفر)، قرار داشتند. .میانگین نمره فرهنگ ایمنی بیمار در نمونه‌‌های پژوهش، 0.54 ±3.03 بود که در سطح ضعیف قرار داشت. همچنین میانگین نمره تفکر انتقادی پرستاران، 3.36 ±29.74 بود که از سطح مطلوبی برخوردار بود. بین فرهنگ ایمنی بیمار و تفکر انتقادی پرستاران رابطه مستقیم و معنا داری وجود داشت (0.001>p، 0.338=r)؛ به این صورت که با بهبود تفکر انتقادی در پرستاران؛ فرهنگ ایمنی بیمار هم افزایش پیدا می کرد.نتیجه گیری: بر اساس نتایج مطالعه حاضر، ارتقای تفکر انتقادی پرستاران میتواند به ارتقای فرهنگ ایمنی بیماران کمک کند. لذا ضروری است تا مدیران پرستاری و نیز سیاست گذاران آموزش پرستاری با برنامه ریزی در راستای ارتقاء تفکر انتقادی پرستاران و دانشجویان پرستاری به عنوان یکی از راهکارهای توسعه فرهنگ ایمنی بیمار، زمینه لازم را برای بهبود ایمنی بیمار و در نهایت ارتقای کیفیت مراقبت های پرستاری فراهم آورند.

The Relationship between Critical Thinking and Patient Safety Culture in the Nurses

Introduction: Patient safety is one of the main components of health service quality, and patient safety culture is considered as one of the necessary factors in promotion of the patients rsquo; safety. On the other hand, the application of critical thinking skills, by developing evidencebased practices, leads to positive outcomes in patients.This study aims to determine the relationship between critical thinking and patient safety culture in the nurses.Methods: This correlational study was conducted on 196 nurses working in Shariati Hospital of Isfahan city who had been selected by convenience sampling method. Data was collected by hospital survey on patient safety culture (HSOPSC) questionnaire and the California critical thinking skills test; form B (CCTST). The data was analyzed by descriptive statistics and Pearson correlation test in SPSS 22 software.Results: Most of the participants (52.6%, 103 persons) were woman and were in the age group of 3140 years (35.2%, 69 persons). The mean score of patient safety culture in study samples was 3.03 ±0.45 which was at a weak level. Also, the mean score of nurses rsquo; critical thinking was 29.74 ±3.36 which had a desirable level. A significant direct relationship was found between patient safety culture and nurses rsquo; critical thinking; so that improvement of the nurses rsquo; critical thinking led to promotion of patient safety culture (r=0.338, P<0.001).Conclusion: According to the results of this study, improvement of the nurses rsquo; critical thinking can help to promote patient safety culture. Therefore, it is necessary for nursing managers and nursing education policy makers to plan for promoting critical thinking of nurses and nursing students as one of the ways to develop the patient safety culture, to provide the necessary context for improving patient safety and ultimately improving the quality of nursing care.
