چکیده    The purpose of this research is to determine the relationship between level of motivation and stress among teachers continuing their study. the research sample was chosen using simple random technique from 178 teachers who continue their study in utm, skudai, johor. level of motivation was identified based on intrinsic motivation and extrinsic motivation. factors of stress were identified based on work stress and learning stress. this study employs a set of questionnaire measuring level of motivation and factor of stress among teachers continuing their study using five point likert scales. data analysis was carried out descriptively using the means, frequencies, percentages and standard deviations in order to analyze the level of motivation and the dominant factor of stress among teachers continuing their study.meanwhile the inferential statistical such as pearson correlations at the significant level of 0.05 were used in order to determine the relationship between level of motivation and stress factor among teachers continuing their study. research findings show that the extrinsic and intrinsic respondents’ level are high. meanwhile, the main course of stress among the respondents is coming from work pressure. study results also show that there were a significant relationship between level of motivation and stress among teachers continuing their study. .additionally, this research yields a few suggestions in improving the motivation and strategies to face the stress.
