تاثیر تنزل نظام تیمارلی در ساختار امپراتوری عثمانی

در حالیکه در امپراتوری عثمانی نظامیان از اهمیت قابل توجهی برخوردار بودند و غالب سپاهیان را سواره‌نظام‌ تشکیل می‌داد، این حکومت با مشکل کمبود فلزات و نقدینگی جهت تامین هزینه سپاه مواجه بود. بمنظور رفع این مشکل اراضی‌ای بعنوان تیمار به سپاهیان سواره نظام واگذار گردید. تیمارلی‌ها که جزء تشکیلات نیروهای ایالتی به شمار می‌رفتند و نقش مهمی درتثبیت قدرت عثمانی ایفا کردند از اواخر قرن شانزدهم میلادی ضعیف گردیدند و از تعدادشان کاسته شد. برخی از مورخین تنزل و کاهش نظام تیمارلی را از عوامل مهم انحطاط عثمانی می‌دانند. پژوهش حاضر بر اساس روش توصیفی تحلیلی و استفاده از ابزار مطالعه کتابخانه‌ای، در پی تبیین این مساله است که کاهش جایگاه نهاد تیمارلی چه تاثیری در ساختار حکومتی امپراتوری عثمانی داشت. یافته‌های پژوهش حاکی از آن است که تنزل تیمارلی آسیب‌دیدگی شدید تشکیلات نظامی و دفاعی عثمانی‌ها را در پی داشت و بسترساز آشوب های سپاهیان و در نهایت ضعف امپراتوری گردید. به این معنا که عثمانی‌ها نه تنها تیمارلی‌ها ی سواره نظام را بعنوان پایه اساسی ساختار نظامی خود از دست دادند بلکه با تنزل تیمارلی زمینه شورش و اعتراض سپاهیان قاپی‌قولو اعم از سپاهی سواره نظام و ینی‌چری‌ پیاده نظام را نیز مهیا کردند.

the effect of the decline of the timarli system in the structure of the ottoman empire

so far, extensive researches have been done in the field of timarli system in the ottoman empire; but there are still many unsaid angles by historians and history researchers. what is supposed to be investigated in this article, the cavalry corps of the government were facing the problem of lack of metals and liquidity to cover the cost of the corps. in order to solve this problem, land was given to the cavalry corps as treatment. timarlis, who were part of the formation of the state forces and played an important role in establishing the ottoman power, became weak and decreased in number from the end of the 16th century. some historians consider the decline of the timarli system as one of the important factors of ottoman decline. the current research is based on the descriptive analytical method in order to explain the issue of how the reduction of the position of the timarli institution had an effect on the governmental structure of the ottoman empire. the findings of the research indicate that the decline of the timarli system resulted in the weakness of the military and defense organizations of the ottomans and became the basis for the riots of the troops and ultimately the weakness of the empire. in this sense, the ottomans lost their military structure of the cavalry regiments and prepared the ground for rebellion and protest of the qapi qulu troops, including the cavalry corps and the janissary infantry.
