جغرافیای گرجستان و تاثیر آن در بر زندگی اجتماعی گرجی ها در دوران حکومت صفویان

موقعیت مهم و استراتژیک گرجستان سبب شده است تا در ادوار مختلف تاریخی محل منازع قدرت های بزرگ بر سر دستیابی و تسلط بر آن باشد از همین رو در دوران حکومت صفویان و بویژه در زمان شاه‌عباس اول با توجه به پیوستگی های جغرافیایی این منطقه به عنوان یکی از ایالت های تحت تابعیت ایران سبب شد تا سیاست های نظامی صفویان با هدف تحقق برنامه های اقتصادی و سیاسی در تقابل با نفوذ عثمانی و روسیه تزاری چیدمان شود. لذا اجرای سیاست اسکان گرجیان در ایران توسط شاه عباس و ایجاد بستر مناسب در جهت استفاده از توانایی های آنان در خدمات کشوری و لشگری به عنوان « نیروی سوم»، توانست تصویر محکمی از اقتدار خود در حل منازعات داخلی و خارجی به نمایش بگذارد. با این وجود گرچه بسیاری از منابع به بازخورد حضور گرجیان در ایران و خدمات آنان اذعان داشته اند اما کمتر اثری را می توان یافت که به تاثیرات حمله شاه عباس به گرجستان در درون جامعه ایران و جامعه گرجی ها توجه کرده باشد. از همین رو این مقاله بر آن است تا با سود جستن از روش توصیفی تحلیلی به بررسی پیامدهای اجتماعی حمله شاه‌عباس به گرجستان به این سوال مهم پاسخ دهد که موقعیت جغرافیایی گرجستان چه تاثیری بر بروز پیامدهای اجتماعی بر زندگی گرجی ها در نتیجه حملات نظامی صفویان به این منطقه داشته است؟ فرضیه متصور آن است که موقعیت استراتژیک و ویژه جغرافیایی گرجستان، علاوه بر سیطره نظامی، منجر به افزایش مبادلات تجاری و اقتصادی و تغییر ترکیب جمعیتی شده است.

Geography of Georgia and its impact on Georgian social relations during the Safavid rule

Georgia’s important and strategic position has led to disputes over its domination in various historical periods. During the Safavid rule and especially during the reign of Shah Abbas I, due to the geographical connections of this region (as one of the states under Iranian citizenship), this fact led to the Safavid military policies got adopted aimed at achieving economic and political plans in opposition to Ottoman influence and Tsarist Russia. Therefore, by implementing the Georgian settlement policy in Iran, Shah Abbas created a suitable platform for using their capabilities in civil and military services as a &third force&, and was able to show a strong picture of his authority in resolving internal and external conflicts. However, many sources have acknowledged the feedback of the Georgian presence in Iran and their services, little can be found that has paid attention to the effects of Shah Abbas’s attack on Georgia within Iranian society and Georgian society. Therefore, this article intends to use the descriptiveanalytical method to study the social consequences of Shah Abbas’s attack on Georgia to answer the important question: what effect the geographical location of Georgia has on the social consequences on the lives of Georgians as a result of the attacks. The hypothesis is that Georgia’s strategic, in addition to military domination, has led to increase trade and economic exchanges and a change in demographic composition.
