زبان زمان: سبک‌شناسی گزاره‌های زمانی و بررسی زمان ماجراجویی در ترجمۀ هزارویک شب

در داستان‌های عامیانه، گزاره‌هایی زمانی وجود دارد که بیانگر مبهم و فرضی بودن زمان است. این گزاره‌ها در هزارویک‌ شب بسامد بالایی دارد و گاه به صورت متوالی در یک حکایت تکرار می‌شود که با توجه به‌کاربرد هدفمند آن در داستان، از منظر سبک‌شناسی درخور بررسی است. این گزاره‌ها علاوه بر ملموس کردن زمان در ذهن مخاطب، تغییر مکان وقوع حوادث و میزان فواصل زمانی را نیز نشان می‌دهد. در مقالۀ حاضر تلاش شده‌است هدفِ استفاده از گزاره‌های زمانی در ترجمۀ هزارویک‌ شب که بنا بر بافت موقعیتی داستان به وجود آمده‌است، به عنوان یک مشخصۀ سبکی بررسی شود. همچنین، مفهوم «پیوستگی زمان و مکان» در منطق صوری که در زبان و ادبیات به‌کار گرفته می‌شود و مولفه‌های دیگری که متعلق به محتوای این داستان‌هاست، همچون «زمان تهی» (وقفۀ زمانی بین حوادث) و «زمان تصادفی» (کاربرد گزاره‌هایی که حوادث را به نفع قهرمان داستان تغییر می‌دهد) بررسی و تببین شده‌است.

The Stylistics of Time Propositions and a Study of Adventure Time in the Translation of One Thousand and One Nights

In folk tales, there are many time propositions that indicate the vagueness and hypothetical quality of time. These propositions have a high frequency in One Thousand and One Nights and are sometimes repeated in one story. This repetition is purposeful and can be studied from the perspective of stylistics. In addition clarifying the time in the mind of the reader, these propositions show the changes in the location of events and the duration of intervals. This paper aims to study the purpose of the use of time propositions as a stylistic feature in the translation of One Thousand and One Nights. Moreover, the concept of “chronotope” in formal logic and other concepts related to the contents of these stories, such as empty time (interval between events) and accidental time (time propositions that change events in favor of the hero of the story), are studied and explained.
