لئو اشتراوس و روش‌شناسیِ خوانش متون اندیشۀ سیاسی؛ روش پوشیده‌نویسی

چگونگی خوانش و فهم متون تاریخی بویژه در حوزه فلسفه و اندیشه سیاسی همواره یکی از دغدغه‌های اساسی پژوهشگران این حوزه بوده ‌است. چه اینکه ترس از آزار حکومت‌ها و نیز ترس از عواقب آشنایی عوام با حقایق فلسفی معمولاً دو دلیل عمده برای فیلسوفان در روی آوردن به پوشیده‌نویسی بوده‌ است. تاکنون روش‌های مختلفی در قالب نحله‌های مختلف هرمنوتیک برای فهم غایت و غرض نویسندگان و فیلسوفان سیاسی ارائه شده ‌است که هر یک به نسبت نقطه قوت و ضعف خاص خود را داشته‌اند. یکی از این روش‌های کمتر شناخته ‌شده در ایران روشی‌ است که توسط لئو اشتراوس فیلسوف سیاسی معاصر تحت عنوان پوشیده‌نویسی عرضه شده ‌است. در این پژوهش تلاش شده تا کلیات این روش‌شناسی که بتدریج در ذهن اشتراوس شکل گرفته و در مجموعه آثار او تجلی یافته، استخراج شده و به تشریح ظرفیت‌هایی در خوانش و فهم متون سیاسی کلاسیک اشاره گردد. به این منظور با اتخاذ روش گردآوری داده‌ها به صورت کتابخانه‌ای تلاش شد مبانی فلسفی و مبادی بازیافت این نوع خوانش توسط اشتراوس توضیح داده و همچنین برخی از &اصول& این روش خوانش متن تشریح شود.

how to read and understand historical texts, especially in the field of philosophy and political thought, has always been one of the main concerns of researchers in this field. because of the fear of persecution of governments on one hand, and the fear of the consequences of the general public’s acquaintance with philosophical ideas on the other hand, have usually been the two main reasons for philosophers to write esoterically. there are different methods have been presented in the form of different hermeneutic branches to understand the purposes and intentions of writers and political philosophers, each of which has its own strengths and weaknesses. one of these unknown methods in iran is the method proposed by the contemporary political philosopher leo strauss under the title of esoteric writing or reading/writing between the lines. in this article, i attempt to extract the generalities of this method and to describe its advantages and capacities in reading and understanding classical philosophical texts.
