معرفی ماهی بتا (betta splendens) و مروری بر روش تکثیر آن

ماهی بتا (betta splendesns) و نام‌‌های مصطلح ماهی جنگجو و جنگجوی سیامی یکی از معروف ترین ماهیان آکواریومی آب شیرین در جهان است که طی سال‌‌های اخیر نگهداری و تکثیر و پرورش آن در جهان و کشور ایران گسترش چشمگیری داشته است. این ماهی دارای بدنی کشیده و فلس‌دار با سطح مقطع گرد و مدور است که حداکثر طول کلی آن به 5/6 سانتی‌‌متر می‌رسد. خصوصیت‌ بارز ماهی بتا (ماهی جنگجو) همان‌طوری‌که از نام آن پیداست، رفتار تهاجمی آن است. بتا دارای رژیم غذایی گوشت‌خواری است و در طبیعت از پلانکتون‌های جانوری یا زئوپلانکتون‌ها، حشرات و لارو حشرات تغذیه می‌کند. بهترین دما برای نگهداری بتا در آکواریوم و تکثیر آن 30-26 درجه‌‌ سانتی‌‌گراد است. این ماهی‌‌ها در کمتر از یک‌سال و احتمالاً تا شش‌ ماهگی با توجه به دما و شرایط زیستی از قبیل تغذیه، کیفیت آب و سایر عوامل تاثیرگذار در این امر، به بلوغ جنسی می‌رسند. با انتخاب مولدین مناسب و مهیا کردن شرایط مناسب محیطی، می‌‌توان اقدام به جفت‌اندازی و تکثیر این ماهی نمود. 48-36 ساعت پس از تخم‌ریزی ماهی بتا، تخم‌ها هچ می‌شوند و لاروهای بسیار ریز به طول متوسط 2 میلی‌متر که دارای کیسه زرده و فاقد قدرت شنا هستند، به‌دنیا می‌آیند. در نهایت، با رعایت رژیم تغذیه‌‌ای مناسب و سایر عوامل زیستی و محیطی، این ماهی‌‌ها حدود سن پنج ‌ماهگی به سایز مناسب برای ارائه به بازار ماهیان زینتی خواهند رسید.
