جایگاه کشاورزی شهری در ارتقاء بهره‌وری کشاورزی و امنیت غذایی

جهان امروز با مشکلات افزایش جمعیت، شهر نشینی، افزایش نیاز به غذا، کاهش منابع آب و تخریب محیط زیست روبه‌رو است. کشاورزی شهری به عنوان بخشی از فعالیت‌های شهری فرصتی برای ایجاد تغییرات مثبت در نظام غذایی جهان و تولید مواد غذایی با کیفیت می‌باشد. ورود هدفمند کشاورزی شهری به منظر شهری راه حل جدیدی برای مقابله با مشکلات زیست محیطی، اجتماعی و اقتصادی می‌باشد. به طور قطع با گسترش شهرها و رشد جمعیت شهری تقاضا برای مواد غذایی افزایش پیدا می‌کند. کشاورزی همواره اصلی ترین تامین کننده مواد غذایی بشر بوده است و امنیت غذایی را برای جامعه ایجاد کند. کشاورزی شهری در کنار محاسن و مزایای خود دارای چالش‌هایی نیز هست. شهرها کانون‌های اصلی تحقق اهداف توسعه پایدار می‌باشند و از این رو تولید مواد غذایی با کیفیت در کم‌ترین مکان و کوتاه‌ترین زمان بسیار مهم است، با تولید غذا روی بام‌ها، حیاط منازل و عرصه‌های مناسب شهری و با اعمال مدیریت صحیح می‌توان نیاز غذایی شهروندان را تاًمین و کیفیت محیط زیست شهری را حفظ کرد. هم چنین فرصتی برای اقشار کم‌درآمد شهری فراهم می شود تا با ایجاد اشتغال و کاهش هزینه‌های غذایی خانوار به امنیت غذایی برسند. از این رو تحقیق حاضر براساس روش مروری و توصیفی و با استفاده از مطالعات کتابخانه‌ای می‌باشد.

The role of urban agriculture in increasing agricultural productivity and food security

Today, the world is facing several problems, including population growth, urbanization, food demand increasing, depletion of water resources, and environmental degradation. Urban agriculture as part of urban activities is an opportunity to make positive changes in the world food system and produce quality food. Urban agriculture is a new solution to deal with environmental, social, and economic problems. It is obvious that with the expansion of cities and the growth of the urban population, the demand for food will increase. Agriculture has always been the main supplier of human food and creates food security for society. In addition to its advantages and disadvantages, urban agriculture also has its challenges. Cities are the main centers for achieving the goals of sustainable development, and therefore the production of quality food in the smallest place and in the shortest time is very important. By producing food on rooftops, backyards, and suitable urban areas and by applying proper management, the food needs of citizens can be answered and the quality of the urban environment can be maintained. It also provides an opportunity for lowincome citizens to achieve food security by creating jobs and reducing household food costs. The present study is based on a descriptive and review method using library studies.
