گونه‌شناسی متنی و شکلی مهرهای نسخ دستنویس کتابخانه چستربیتی

کتابخانه چستربیتی واقع در شهر دوبلین ایرلند شمالی یکی از غنی‌ترین مجموعه‌های نسخ دست‌نویس اسلامی را در خود جای داده است. عمدۀ آثار موجود در این مجموعه، در بحبوحۀ جنگ جهانی و سال‌های تشتت در کشورهای اسلامی و فروپاشی عثمانی خریداری شده است. برهه‌ای از زمان که نفیس‌ترین آثار فرهنگی شرقی به بهایی اندک فروخته می‌شد و به آسانی به‌دست غربی‌ها می‌رسید. متصدیان کتابخانه، باتوجه‌به غنای گنجینه تحت اختیارشان برآن شدند تصاویر مهرها را برای استفاده پژوهشگران و خوانش متن آن‌ها، به‌صورت آنلاین، در اختیار عموم بگذارند. از این‌رو، تعداد نزدیک به 800 نمایه از مهرها را به همراه منبع و مشخصات آن‌ها در سایت کتابخانه ارائه کرده‌اند. نظر به اهمیت موضوع، کلیه مهرها از سایت کتابخانه استخراج و تعداد 773 عدد از آن‌ها برای پژوهش حاضر برگزیده شدند. پس از بررسی اولیه (شامل حذف موارد تکراری، خوانش متن‌ و اصالت)، اطلاعات لازم بر مبنای مطالعات کتابخانه‌ای – اسنادی و  اینترنتی جمع‌آوری و آمار و نمودارهای مربوطه استخراج و ترسیم شد. سپس اطلاعات به‌دست آمده، به روش توصیفی و تحلیلی، مورد بررسی قرار گرفت. برای استخراج آمار و نمودارها، جامعۀ آماری پژوهش، در پنج گروه اصلی شامل: تعداد کلمات، زبان، زمینه، شکل و محتوا تقسیم‌ شد. نتایج حاصل از این پژوهش، ویژگی‌های مختلفی از مهرها را نشان می‌دهد که بارزترین آن‌ها را می‌توان به این صورت بازگویی کرد: بیشترین اشکال، دایره و بیضی و مهم‌ترین زبان‌ها، عربی و فارسی و از نظر متنی، اغلب آن‌ها دارای نام و نشان اشخاص و بیان اعتقادات دینی آن‌هاست.اهداف پژوهش:بررسی مهرهای نسخ دست‌نویس کتابخانه چستربیتی از نظر شکل و عناصر بصری.بررسی مهرهای نسخ دست‌نویس کتابخانه چستربیتی از نظر محتوا و کارکرد.سوالات پژوهش:مهرهای استخراج‌شده از دست‌نویس‌های کتابخانه چستربیتی دارای چه کارکردی بوده‌اند؟مهرهای استخراج‌شده از دست‌نویس‌های کتابخانه چستربیتی از لحاظ بصری دارای چه ویژگی‌هایی هستند؟

textual and morphological typology of the seals in the manuscripts of the chester beatty library

the chester beatty library in dublin, northern ireland, is home to one of the richest collections of islamic manuscripts. most of the works in this collection were purchased in the midst of world warr ii and the years of disunity in islamic countries or during the dissolution of the ottoman empire; an interval of time during which the most exquisite cultural works of the orient were sold instead of a small price and easily accessible to the west. considering the importance of this issue, all seals were extracted from the library site, out of which 773 were selected for the present study. after conducting an initial study (including elimination of duplicates, reading the texts and validating their originality), the necessary information was collected based on library-documentary and internet studies and the relevant statistics and graphs were extracted and plotted. then, the obtained information was analyzed in a descriptive and analytical method. in order to extract the statistics and graphs, the statistical population of the study was divided into five main groups including the number of words, language, context, form and content. the results of the study indicate different characteristics of the seals, the most obvious of which can be recounted as follows: most shapes are circular and oval , and the most important languages are arabic and persian, and in terms of text, most of them include names and addresses of people and an expression of their religious beliefs.
