راهبردهای صنعت نشر در تهران از منظر مدیریت شهری: یک پژوهش نظریه‌ مبنایی

Comparing the current situation in tehran and other world cities represents that the cultural industries could not have the acceptable place of cultural, social and economical development to tehran, although their tremendous role in the sustainable development of mega-polises. a major capacity of the publishing industry of iran exclusively located in tehran and urban management with its extensive amplitude of authorities and functions will have an important role in the mutation of urban economy into culture and knowledge -based economy obviously. this article attempts to answer that which approaches and strategies can be put by tehran's urban management for prospering the publishing industry? in this regard, we had collected the data using grounded theory as a qualitative research with comprehensive interview tool. the samples (including 16 cases of active publishers, 8 cases cultural managers of tehran and 7 experts) was determined through purposive snowball sampling method. central concept of study shows the lack of development-oriented in tehran urban management actions for the publishing industry; that the most important conclusion from it, is to reduce direct and indirect meddling of urban management in the publishing industry. tehran urban management can modify its approach and performance for providing the conditions for development and flourishing it. the authors argue that the relationship between urban management and publishing industry has not been explained and analyzed as they have studied in this paper; that shows innovative aspects of the subject and methodology of this research.
