محور، مدرن/ فمنیستی و اسلامی مفهوم مادری با توجه به سه رویکرد سنت

این مقاله، به بررسی مفهوم مادری مبتنی بر سه رویکرد سنت‌محور، مدرن/ فمنیستی و اسلامی می‌پردازد. هرچند که مفهوم مادری در نگاه اوّلیه، ذهن را به سوی جنس مونث که حامل و زایندۀ فرزند است، رهنمون می‌کند، اما واکاوی متون علوم اجتماعی، گستردگی و پیچیدگی‌های این مفهوم را نشان می‌دهد. در رویکرد سنت‌محور، مادری، شاخصۀ هویتی زن است، اما در رویکرد مدرن/ فمنیستی زن و مادری از هم تفکیک شده و با فناوری‌های جدید، واژگانی چون مادر ژنتیک، مادر زیستی و مادر اجتماعی مطرح شده است. بنابراین، مطالب موجود در این حوزه، بر اساس دو رویکرد سنت‌محور و مدرن/ فمنیستی جمع‌آوری شد که رویکرد مدرن/ فمنیستی مرهون تلاش فمنیست‌ها برای مقابله با رویکرد سنت‌محور بوده است. اما از آنجا که این رویکرد نیز در موج سوم فمنیسم بازگشت به مادری را در برنامۀ خود قرار داده و همچنان با ابهاماتی مواجه است، رویکرد اسلامی مورد بررسی قرار گرفت تا در کنار ادبیات مفهومی موجود، به معرفی مادری با محوریت قرآن بپردازد.

The Concept of Motherhood in Traditionoriented, Modern/Feminist and Islamic Approaches

This article examines the concept of motherhood in three approaches; traditionoriented, modern/feminist and Islamic. Although the concept of motherhood leads to females giving birth to a child at the first glance, more careful scrutiny of social texts reveals the broadness and complexity of this phenomenon. From a tradition oriented point of view, motherhood is the characteristic of female identity. However, the modern/feminist approach views woman and the maternal instinct separately. Terminologies such as genetic mother, biological mother and social mother have been mentioned in this literature. In this article, we review the existing literature based on these two approaches and demonstrate how the feminist approach encounters the traditional point of view towards motherhood.  However, as the third wave of feminism has addressed return to motherhood and raised some confusions and uncertainties, we suggest a rereading of the Islamic approach toward motherhood based on Quranic literature.
