انیمیشن به مثابه اسطوره بررسی اسطوره‌ شناختی انیمیشن ‌های تولید شده در ایالات متحده آمریکا

پژوهش حاضر به بررسی دسته‌ای از انیمیشن‌ها و فیلم‌های لایواکشن تولید شده در استودیوهای ایالات متحده امریکا از دهه 40 میلادی تا زمان حاضر می‌پردازد. این انیمیشن‌ها از این جهت از میان نمونه‌های فراوان انتخاب شده‌اند که در باکس آفیس با استقبال روبرو شده، یا از جهات دیگر برجسته به شمار می‌روند، توسط کمپانی‌های بزرگ تولید شده و نزدیک به هشتاد مورد را در برمی گیرند. فیلم‌ها از منظر اسطوره شناسی به معنای مدرن آن مورد تحلیل محتوای کیفی قرار گرفته‌اند. در توصیف چیستی اسطوره و ویژگی‌های آن بیش از همه از آرای رولان بارت و امبرتو اکو استفاده شده است. این خصیصه‌ها (خشونت‌زدایی، لذت از تکرارها، فراواقعیت، همان گویی، تبخیر تاریخ، تقلیل گرایی و شیء شدگی) در انیمیشن‌های مذکور به عنوان محملی از اسطوره‌های مدرن مورد بحث قرار می‌گیرند.

Animated Movies as Myths: Mythological Study of Animated Movies Produced in United States of America

The present study analyzes a group of animated and liveaction movies which are produced in United States of America since 1940’s. The selected movies –which include about 80 items have earned great amounts of money in BoxOffice or have other distinguished characteristics and are produced by dominant companies. The movies have been analyzed in a modern mythological perspective. Roland Barthes’ and Umberto Eco’s attitudes have been applied for describing modern myths. The presentation of these parameters (hyperreality, vaporization of history, reductionism, and reification and…) in the selected movies will be discussed. The findings present that the myths adjust themselves with the time and space they are born in, and at the same time they hold their common properties in different circumstances. Among all the modern myths, animated movies have a strong ability to hide their deceptions behind a mask of innocence and honesty which makes the revelation so tough but of course not impossible.
