نقد و بررسی روش مواجهه قسطر در ارزیابی روایات اسلامی با تکیه بر روایت کوتاه کردن ناخنها

مناخیم.ی.قسطر از مستشرقان یهودی است که در آثار خود به بررسی روایات و متون تاریخی اعم از جاهلیت و اسلام پرداخته است؛ از بررسی یک کتاب تاریخی مانند انساب الاشراف بلاذری گرفته تا یک موضوع تاریخی از سیره و اقوام عرب مانند بنی‌قریظه و تا بررسی یک شخصیت مسلمان مانند حضرت خدیجه(س). او حتی در مواردی به ارزیابی موردی حدیث پرداخته است. قسطر در مقاله‌ای با عنوان «ناخن‌های خود را کوتاه کنید» ضمن بررسی مصدر آن، چرایی اهمیت آن را با همپوشانی روایات دیگر مورد بحث قرار داده است. او در ادامه مقاله بحث دیگری را به گونه‌ای استطرادی در مورد وجوب یا استحباب سنت کوتاه نمودن ناخن‌ها براساس مصادر اهل‌سنت پیش برده تا روند مسیر نتیجه‌گیری مقاله مبنی بر فطری بودن این سنت از زمان حضرت ابراهیم را در سرشیبی اتمام قرار دهد. با توجه به اینکه این مقاله وی با اعتقاد مسلمانان مبنی بر اهمیت سند و وثاقت آن و نبوت پیامبراکرم(ص) در تعارض است، لزوم نقد آن را بایسته می‌سازد. بررسی تحلیلی توصیفی نوشتار قسطر، بر دو محور مصدر و متن روایات، نشانگر آن است که فطری تلقی نمودن سنت ناخن کوتاه نمودن از زمان حضرت ابراهیم(ع) مورد نقد جدی است؛ گویا اینکه نویسنده مقاله به دنبال ارائه یک پژوهش موضوعی با استفاده از روایات راجع به ابعاد بهداشتی – فقهی سنت کوتاه نمودن ناخن‌ها است و از رسالت اصلی مقاله یعنی بحث راجع به روایت«ناخن‌های خود را کوتاه کنید» در مسیر دیگری قرار گرفته است.

menachem. y. kister is one of the jewish orientalists who has investigated narratives and historical texts, both jāhilīyyah and islam, in his works, from the review of a historical book such as ansāb alashrāf of balādhari to a historical subject of the biography and arab peoples such as banī qurayẓah and to the review of a muslim character such as lady khadijah (as). he has even evaluated the hadith on a casebycase basis. in an article entitled cut your nails, while examining its source, kister has discussed why it is important with the alignment of other narratives. in the rest of the article, he has advanced another debate in a rhetorical way about the necessity or desirability of the hadith of cutting nails based on sunni sources, to put the process of the conclusion of the article on the innateness of this tradition since the time of prophet ibrahim (pbuh) in the verge of completion. considering that his article is in conflict with the belief of muslims regarding the importance of the document and its authenticity and the prophethood of the holy prophet (pbuh), it is necessary to criticize it. analyticaldescriptive analysis of kister’s writings, on the two axes of the source and the text of the narratives, shows that considering the tradition of cutting nails as natural since the time of prophet abraham (pbuh) is seriously criticized; it seems that the author of the article seeks to present a thematic research using narratives about the healthjurisprudential aspects of the tradition of cutting nails, and it has been taken in a different direction from the main mission of the article, which is the discussion about the narrative of cut your nails.
