The relationship between economics and realism is one of the interesting and topical subjects among the economic methodologists and philosophers of science. in this context, it is seen in recent years that the realist approaches have become one of the new inclinations especially in the area of philosophy of economics. in this study, a methodological appraisal is made by discussing the relationship between economics and realism from a critical viewpoint
