نظریه‌های تجدد، از عقل خود‌بنیاد تا عقل ارتباطی

نظریه‌های تجدد (مدرنیته) در دنیای دانش‌پژوهی و نظریه‌پردازی گسترۀ شایان توجه و دامنۀ وسیعی را در برمی‌گیرد. این گستره از رویکردهای فلسفی، تا رویکرد تاریخی تمدنی، رویکرد جامعه‌شناسی تاریخی و سرانجام جامعه‌شناسی دین را در بردارد. در درون هریک از این رویکردها نیز شیوه‌های تحلیل و نظریه‌هایی با نام و هویت خاص خود ظهور یافته است. پژوهش پیش‌رو از این باور آغاز کرده است که تمام این گسترۀ بزرگ از نظریه‌ها را می‌توان حول دو مفهوم کنش و هم‌کنشی از یک سو و عقل خودبنیاد و عقل ارتباطی از سوی دیگر، مفهوم‌بندی و از یکدیگر متمایز کرد و بر این مبنا نقد و تحلیل کرد. فرضیۀ پژوهش این است که نگرش به مفهوم تجدد از عقل خود‌بنیاد و کنش خودآیین آغاز شد و تا عقل ارتباطی و همکنشی امتداد یافت و طی این مسیر، توضیح سرشت تجدد در قالب صورت‌بندی فرایند عقلانی شدن جامعگی از فلسفه به جامعه‌شناسی منتقل شد، درحالی‌که مفهوم‌بندی عقل از عقل استعلایی به عقل ابزاری و از آنجا به عقل ارتباطی گذر کرد. تمرکز این نوشته بر پی‌یابی این مسیر گذار با رهیافت تاریخی تاویلی است.

Modern Theories, From SelfFounded Reason to Communicative Reason

Modernity theories occupy a vast scope in the theoretical and research areas. Instances can be found in philosophical, historicalcivil, sociologicalhistorical approaches, and finally sociology of religion. Within any of these approaches some analytical methods and theories with specific names and natures have been developed. The current research started with the supposition that all these approaches in this big spectrum can be claimed to revolve around action and reaction concepts on one hand, and selffounded and communicative reason on the other. By using this framework, the aforementioned notions can be conceptualized and differentiated; that is the base for this study to analyze. The research hypothesis is that using modernity theories began with the selffounded and autonomic action and then was extended to communicative reason and interaction. In this passage, explaining the essence of modernity was transmitted from philosophy to sociology in form of a process by which the society was rationalized while conceptualizing reason made a passage through transcendental to instrumental and then to communicative reason. The focus of this research is on the exploration of this path with a historicalhermeneutical approach.
