بررسی سیطره جنسیت بر زندگی اجتماعی تبدیل‌خواهان جنسی

تبدیل‌خواهی‌ جنسی اختلالی در هویت جنسی به‌شمار می‌آید. تبدیل‌خواهان جنسی خود را به گروه جنس مخالف متعلق می‌دانند، از وضعیت جنسیبدنی خود راضی نیستند و می‌کوشند با استفاده از هورمون‌ها و عمل‌های جراحی، خود را به وضعیت دلخواه نزدیک کنند. هدف این مقاله «بررسی ابعاد سیطره جنسیت بر زندگی تبدیل‌خواهان جنسی» است. برای این منظور، با دوازده نفر از این افراد (شش نفر زن به مرد و شش نفر مرد به ‌زن) مصاحبه عمیق ساختاریافته صورت گرفت و نتایج با نظریه زمینه‌ای با استفاده از جداول کدگذاری داده‌ها تحلیل شد. یافته‌های این پژوهش شامل سه تم اصلی و چهل‌ویک تم فرعی است. عبارت‌های معنایی تم‌های اصلی به‌دست‌آمده شامل واکنش خانواده در برابر تبدیل‌خواهی جنسی، نمود بیرونی تبدیل‌خواهی در آینه کنش متقابل اجتماعی و تجربه «داغ ننگ» به‌دلیل تبدیل‌خواهی جنسی است. مقایسه نتایج دو گروه از تبدیل‌خواهان، بیان‌کننده سیطره جنسیت بر هر دو گروه از آنان به شکلی متفاوت است؛ تبدیل‌خواهان mtf فشار اجتماعی بیشتری از ftm دارند: دخترسرشتان با طرد اجتماعی و بایکوت مالی بیشتری مواجهند؛ زیرا پذیرش «مردی که می‌خواهد زن شود» به‌مراتب دشوارتر است از پذیرش «زنی که می‌خواهد مرد شود». بدین‌ترتیب شرم‌آور تلقی‌شدن رفتارهای یک تبدیل‌خواه در میان دخترسرشتان بیشتر گزارش‌شده است؛ زیرا دربردارنده از‌دست‌رفتن «مردانگی مورد افتخار» است که می‌توان آن‌ها را نوعی بازتولید گفتمان «مردسالاری» تلقی کرد.

The study of the gender domination in transsexuals’ social lives

Transsexuality is a disorder in gender identity. Transsexuals belong themselves to the opposite gender. They discomfort with own sexualphysical condition and they try to change for a better and more desirable situation by taking hormones and performing surgeries. The main goal of this thesis is “to study the aspect of gender domination in transsexuals’ lives”. To reach this goal, twelve transsexuals (six FtM and six MtF), were conducted a structured indepth interview. The results were analyzed using grounded theory and were categorized to sixteen main themes through data coding table. The results include 3 primary themes and 43 secondary themes. The main themes contain family reaction to transsexuality, social interaction and stigma because of transsexuality. The comparison of between two groups of transsexuals shows the gender domination on the experience of them but in a difference way: MtFs report more social pressure than FtMs. Femalenatured boys confront a more intense social rejection and financial boycott because it is more difficult to accept a man who wishes to be a woman than a woman who is willing to be a man. Therefore the behaviors of a transsexual are regarded as shameful more vastly among femalenatured. The reason is, it resembles losing “manly honor” that could be regarded as a kind of regeneration of “masculinity statement”.
